Security Funding Application
Maingate Business Development Corporation will collaborate with Flats Oxbow Association in a jointly submitted proposal to request funding under the Community Development Block Grant program to provide a dedicated security patrol car for both service areas, along with other security services.
Maingate and Flats Oxbow share a common focus on the needs of businesses, and increased security is a service that companies on both sides of the river have requested from their respective business support organizations. By pooling resources toward a common goal, Maingate and Flats Oxbow hope to convince the City that implementation of a shared security program will provide a big benefit to our most valued business stakeholders and prove to be an effective tool toward business retention in the core of the city.
We will keep you posted and hope to have a substantive, new service to offer you beginning at the start of the funding period on July 1, 2010.
